Archangels 2004-2006
The most interesting thing about religions for me are how they define what it is to be human. This series is ment to represent the humaness of religions. The Archangels have had a wide spred appeal through out time being found in Christian, Judaic, and Islamic traditions. This project involved researching the Archangel's stories and traits. I then narrowed them down to a core 11 and chose people from my life who personified these archetypes in personality, interests, talents and demeanor. I was very happy that they all truly identified with the Angels I chose for them to represent often with suprizing similarities. |
